Weekly Update 12/31/23

Happy New Year’s Eve! I hope you all had a wondrous holiday full of magic and books! (Aren’t they one and the same?) Anyway, I haven’t updated you all in a few weeks. I’ve been busy with packing book boxes and signed paperbacks in the shop, Christmas shopping, family stuff and of course writing!

I know you are all dying to know when Night Meets the Elf Queen will release or at least some news. I don’t have a set release date yet. I won’t rush this book. I always want my next book to be as good or better than the last.

And although book 3 is a bit controversial, for the readers who loved it, they REALLY love it. I personally think it’s the best in the series so far.

But I could be done with book 4 in the Elf Queen series as early as Summer 2024 or late as October 2024. I plan to have the first draft written by April and then take a break from it for about a month, so I can get fresh eyes when I do my edits. I plan for this to be the last in the series with Layala/Valeen as the MC and I want to do it right.

I will likely do spin offs in the same world afterwards. There are so many realms to explore and exciting things I could do here!

Oh, and the audiobook for Fate Calls the Elf Queen released December 26th! If you’ve been waiting, its here! Its available where all audiobooks are sold and in library apps like Libby!

I’m in the middle of a writing session so I’ll keep this short. Have a safe and Happy New Year, and I’ll chat with you all in 2024!

  2. I cannot wait! I just finished book 3 tonight!! I love love love this series. Please hurry with book 4. I read (listened) via Audiobooks. Your narrators are awesome. Tiff’s voice was a little too different this time but other than that…. All around amazing book and narration!

  3. I just binge read all the books. I am stoked there is a 4th book. The 3rd book was my favorite so far. Keep up the good work!
