Hello! It’s JM for the weekly update! I did it! I finally wrote the last sentence in book 3 and then wrote “to be continued in book 4”!
I posted on my Instagram stories and it seems that people were surprised at a book 4 even though if you’ve read my updates, you shouldn’t be surprised lol.
Anyway, now I have a bunch of editing to do lol.
I’ll edit based on my own reading and the beta readers and then in August I’ll go through the feedback of my editor. She worked for one of the big publishing houses as a senior editor for years and she’s worked with some authors I know you’ll know. Jennifer L Armentrout, Elise Kova, Kendare Blake, Danielle L. Jensen and more. Danielle is the one who recommended her to me!
So I’m excited to get her feedback and thoughts on it! I’m always looking to improve and get better so hopefully this is my best book yet!
My son turns 4 tomorrow and I can hardly believe it. We’re having his birthday party today for him. Dinosaur themed of course. So I gotta go pick up the cake, and keep this update short.

I have seen the complaints about proofreading on the Rise Trilogy. It’s frustrating because I’ve had it edited and proofread multiple times. sigh. I’ll look into fixing it and people have said I rushed the ending of book 3. I might go back and rework the series.
