Hello, my book besties! So I was feeling a little blah this week and didn’t get a lot of writing done. I was disappointed in myself until I saw that when I started these weekly updates back in January I was only on chapter 15 and today I’m on chapter 40! So even with an off week here or there I’ve gotten a lot done in the last two months. Time blocking is clearly working for me.
I don’t have much of an update this week. There’s not a whole lot going on but we are one week closer to book 3 being finished.
Oh, I got invited to a signing event. Two actually. One in Forks, WA for the Forever Twilight event in September. I don’t think I’ll attend. It’s an event for Twilight and I’m not sure how well that would cross over to me and my books lol.
And then RARE which is Romance Author & Reader Events. The one I’m considering isn’t until 2024 but it’s in Edinburgh and since I’m in the U.S. that would be a big trip. I’d love to go, but with my young kids, I’m unsure. Who knows, maybe I’ll get grandma to watch the kids for a week and me and the hubby will make it. So all that to tell you it’s a maybe lol. But I’ve always wanted to visit the UK and see the castles, and it would be amazing to meet some of you readers over there!
Since some of you have asked, yes The Bookish Box is going to do a special edition for Long Live the Elf Queen. I believe the timeline for it is this Fall, but I don’t know any more details than that at this point. I’m excited to get to work with them again. Book 1 turned out beautiful!

I just found your books yesterday morning! So my rule of thumb is to only read complete series because I hate waiting. So I looked at the list on Kindle Unlimited and it doesn’t show a pending third book. “Great!” I naively thought to myself as I downloaded the first book. I was reading the second book today and it kept getting closer to the end… “Wow, there must be a crazy major twist for her to end all of this so quickly!”
….Yeah. Here I am. Following the link at the end of book two that says the third one should be coming out sometime this year. 😭😂
