Editing is Under Way! Elf Queen Weekly Update! 8/27/23

Edits are underway! I repeat, edits are underway. This is not a drill!

So I got the first half of Fate Calls back from my editor yesterday and I got started this morning. I haven’t even looked at the book since I sent it off July 1 so I’m excited to go over it again with fresher eyes and make necessary changes.

I’m both nervous and excited to get you this book. I have high expectations and so do you all. I want it to top the others (that’s my goal with every book) I love this book yall. I’ve been working at it for almost a year now and it’s my book baby haha. I think it’s my favorite of the series so far even if BBTEQ is special to me because it kicked everything off.

Adding Hel aka the Black Mage to the mix just ups the tension to a new level. He will have you hating him and maybe rooting for him. Layala grows a lot in this book in character and power. No women losing her power in my books! We see a new side of Thane. We see flashbacks of the past that affect the present time in Adalon. We explore new worlds and meet new friends!

Once I get through all the notes and decide how long I need to edit and allow time for all the other necessary steps, I’ll set up an official release date and preorder!
