Well, hello, my book besties! I need a name for y’all. Like My book queens, my queendom, book babes, book gnomes, Tif’s squad, idk, maybe I’ll stick with book besties.
Y’all this book is at 151k words this week lol. It’s officially my longest book ever, and I still need to write the last chapter today. Things may get cut or expanded on in editing too so it’s not the final word count.
I’ve been doing a lot of edits and rewrites in the earlier chapters but I’m hitting the finale today and I’m SO excited to write it. *fist pump*.
Here are some completely out of context quotes/lines in the book without giving any major spoilers. These are subject to change and unedited.
“So you mean to tell me, the Black Mage is dragon’s fire hot?” Can you guess who said this? I’ll give a clue: she’s barely over a foot tall hehe.
“If you ever do any of that again, I will find everyone you ever loved or cared about and destroy them, and nothing in any of the realms will be able to stop me.”
“You already took everything I cared about a long time ago.”
“I’m afraid if he heard my yodeling he’d want me as some sort of court jester to entertain him while he’s having people tortured and maimed. And I simply cannot yodel while such things are happening.”
“I’ve always wondered—who’s a better roll in the sack, me or him?”… “It must be me. He’s so—formal. Translate that to boring.”
“Come now, love, the game of cat and mouse never ends well for the mouse.”
“We’ve spent our entire lives believing we’re much less than we truly are. Remembering could change everything.”
“Where did a pretty elf like you learn to do that?”

I hope these get you hyped for the book! Whoop whoop! The editor is still scheduled for the month of July. Then it will likely take me a couple weeks to go through the feedback and make changes.
With that in mind, it’s looking like a September release unless the changes take longer than I think! As always you’ll be the first to know of the exact release date, ARC’s and preorders!

Just finished the second book. Read both of them in 2 days. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I read these books. Now to wait for the third book. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I have to say, I don’t often feel like there is a lot of depth in the writing from many authors who attempt this genre. Usually they get me hooked to read through a book but still it’s not as satisfying as it could be. Or worse, book one has all the potential but then the rest of the series flops. But GIRL, I LOVE THESE BOOKS! I not only couldn’t put them down but felt so immersed in the world you created and feel like there is so much there to work with and expand on in these first two books and I am SO EXCITED to see where this story goes and what you do. 💕
