Hey, hey! It’s JM again. I just gotta say, today is a good day!
This was a good writing week for me. I did a bit more editing but I also got some amazing scenes done. I wrote 10k words this week. That puts the book at 80k. Wahoo! I shared this book preview on my tiktok and Instagram but I’ll share it here because it’s just delish. I’m giving absolutely no context but here is a snippet from book 3!

“So now you’re supposed to be my hero?” Layala drawled.
“Hero?” Hel’s eyes darkened and he prowled toward her, stopping inches away; the curl of his magic slid along her skin, catching her breath. It wasn’t dark and frightening but sensual as if it wanted to wrap around her and know every part of her being. “No, love, I’m certainly the villain. I’m everything from your darkest nightmare. I will do things that will break your heart. I will kill whoever I need to kill, and if it’s a sweet innocent human by mistake, then it’s collateral damage. And I won’t give it a second thought.”

That’s it for an update this week. I know I usually make a long post but I’m drawing a blank on anything else today. This long winter is starting to get to me. My kids are bored being stuck in the house all the time (so am I. I love being outside just not when its freezing). I’m ready for vacation in Florida next month!
