| Hi my book besties! It’s Sunday, which means you get to hear all about my life lol. I finally got my Bookish Box copies of BBTEQ! And I absolutely love it! I know there are many of you in search of a copy, but from what I’ve seen there are no copies available on the Bookish Box website. You had to subscribe for the December box to get it. I’ve heard there are people selling their copies in some book groups or places like Mercari. If you’ve seen copies somewhere would you leave a comment, telling where you saw it for those looking? I would appreciate it! |

| Elf Queen Update I think I’m about 80% done with the first draft! So that’s great news. I don’t know how long it’s going to take me to edit but I think, *I hope* I don’t need to do any major editing over-halls. When it comes to editing it is much more than typos and grammar.It’s the flow of the story, pacing, details whether too much or too little, epic and iconic scenes. In the case of book 2 I spent a lot of time trying to get the bathtub steamy scene right. And the flower crown scene in book 1 was added during my editing pass and not the first draft. Can you imagine if the book didn’t have it! . Also I adjusted Layala’s attitude quite a bit in the beginning. She was a lot meaner in the first draft, if you can imagine lol. Book 3 has less action and adventure than book 2. There’s still action and fight scenes, plenty of banter and romantic tension, but not as much traipsing around on the run or racing to find items. There’s also a lot of world building and mysteries, though it’s not info dumped. You’ll discover it as you go through the book!As always I want the book to be great so I won’t rush to get it out. Two weeks until my vacation to Florida! Can I bust out draft 1 before then? I hope so! Then I can just edit while I’m in FL. ***A funny tidbit, someone said Thane is like a more violent Flynn Ryder/ Eugene from Tangled and I think that’s pretty accurate. He’s funny, flirty, and witty, and I mean, I can totally see Thane trying to give Layala the smolder and she knocks him upside the head haha. I also want to say THANK YOU all so much for continuing to post about and recommend my books! It’s a lot of work (and obviously cost involved) for me to advertise, and make content to spread the word about my books, and when it’s a combined effort with you fans it’s MAGICAL. I wouldn’t be where I’m at without you all. So thank you! I’m debating getting back on Tiktok and instagram more. I’m just kind of at a weird place, like I don’t know what to post anymore because I’m kind of burnt out on just posting book snippets and I don’t know if people want to see those anymore? ***Elf Queen Book 2 audio releases March 14th! and If you didn’t see the Tif Stickers are available in my etsy shop.
